Medical Field Customer Service Representative

mlcoa is a premier international provider of independent medical opinions and specialist services to insurers, private employers and government departments.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven professional with prior experience in claims management, customer service administration or practice management who is keen to work in the medical field.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for preparing files ahead of appointments and supporting customers through the provision of advice and arranging suitable appointments with our specialist consultant team.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare files well in advance of appointments ensuring paperwork is in order.
- Engage with case managers and doctors about upcoming appointments.
- Consult and collaborate with team members on key tasks and priorities.
- Provide reception support as needed.
- Liaise with customers to plan and implement agreed services.
- Scheduling of appointments.
- Maintaining busy inboxes with queries, appointments and non-appointment services.
- Providing administrative and operational support to consultant practitioners.
- Providing information and advice to customers or prospective customers.
- Undertaking other tasks assigned to the Customer Services team.
