Expert Accounts Payable Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide accounts payable support to the finance team, including daily invoice processing, employee expenses, reconciliation of corporate credit cards, weekly payment runs, and assistance with ad hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Financial Control.
The ideal candidate will have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team, including with colleagues overseas.
This role involves:
- Day-to-day accounts payable activities globally
- Overseeing dedicated Accounts email inboxes
- Arranging approval of all invoices within specified authorities matrix
- Processing invoices through an expense management system
- Reviewing and approving employee expense claims
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to resolve any AP issues
- Processing weekly payment runs to employees and suppliers
- Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes
- At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable in a medium to large enterprise business
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to live by our organization's core values and possess a strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills
- Experience in financial software and systems, preferably NetSuite or Concur
