**Accounts Payable Specialist Role**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Enter all outstanding invoices into the accounts payable system, ensuring correct assignment of general codes
  • Prepare payments of invoices in a timely manner
  • Monitor and check creditor statements to maintain current payments
  • Assist departments with expense-related enquiries
  • Ensure unpaid invoices are entered into the accounts payable system before month-end
  • Prepare and retain month-end accounts payable reports, including purchase journals, aged payables report, and cheque registers
