Accounts Payable Expert

Based on our organization's requirements, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing accounts payable, travel, and corporate credit cards for our Retail division.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounts payable, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. They should have the ability to work independently while also effectively collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of best practices in accounts payable
- Demonstrating exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Effectively managing upwards and downwards with diverse stakeholders
- Resolving invoice discrepancies via ERP systems
- Ensuring accurate coding and processing of invoices via OCR technology
- Reviewing and approving expense claims from a financial perspective
- Managing EFT and FX forecast and payables functions
- Investigating and resolving outstanding items
The successful candidate will possess significant experience in accounts payable (minimum 3 years), with a professional approach to business and exceptional client service focus. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in using MS suite software programs.
