Expert Accounts Payable Professional

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and conduct payments of non-material and non-trade supplier invoices with high accuracy;
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the Overhead Accounts Payable function effectively;
- Generate payments upon request or within a 24-hour period;
- Evaluate and validate all invoices received, including checking off invoices to statements, locating any missing invoices, and obtaining authorization for all invoices;
- Respond to queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner;
- Ensure that all overhead EFTs/cheques are scanned in the appropriate location on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Experience in end-to-end accounts payable functions;
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
