Lending Services Officer Job Opportunity

About the Role

This position provides a unique opportunity to work in an environment that reflects sales and service excellence. As a Lending Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality level of service to our customers. You will work closely with our team to achieve agreed service level agreements and provide exceptional member service.

  • Provide lending retention interaction support to our customers;
  • Assist the team and members with home loan health checks;
  • Work in a hybrid model of 50/50 WFH and in-office, with flexible working hours to achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities

The Lending Services Officer is responsible for:

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, policies and procedures applicable to the position;
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and competitor's products;
  • Taking ownership and accountability of professional and self-development;
  • Conducting outbound calls and receiving inbound calls for lending retention;
  • Loading loan switch and conversion requests into the bank's system and recommending for approval where applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Financial Services Reform Tier 2 Accreditation;
  • Demonstrated mortgage lending experience;
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Financial Services desirable;
  • Proven lending retention or personal banking experience highly desirable;
  • Accurate keyboard/data entry skills;
  • Outstanding customer focus and positive attitude;
  • Effective organisational and time management skills;
  • Technological savvy; and
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
