Job Title: Career Coach

As a career coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions to prepare for meaningful careers.

  • You will work closely with clients to plan their next career steps and assist in finding the right job.
  • Build strong relationships to understand each client's goals, strengths, and support needs.
  • Provide tailored coaching with regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.

Key to success in this role is your ability to build trust with clients, engage employers, and facilitate group programs. You'll be confident in marketing clients to employers and providing them with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in employment or human services (e.g., mental health, psychology, social work) are desirable.
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions is essential.
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans is required.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary.
