The Rehabilitation Consultant plays a pivotal role in facilitating the journey from rehabilitation to optimal recovery. This person-centred approach necessitates collaboration with clients, medical specialists, and other treatment providers to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and monitor individualised rehabilitation plans in conjunction with clients and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless integration of care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite analyses, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments, drawing on clinical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Provide ongoing support as clients transition back into work or seek new employment opportunities, guaranteeing successful reintegration into their roles.
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant professional bodies.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Nursing.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a registered profession demonstrating exceptional clinical reasoning and ability to engage across diverse multidisciplinary teams.
