Job Opportunity

This role offers a chance to be a key member of the Learn to Swim Program team, delivering high-quality, safe and customer-focused programs at a new centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the Learn to Swim Program meets safety requirements and customer needs with guidance from the program coordinator.
  • Coordinating staff rosters and allocating children to classes and teachers.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to Learn to Swim Teachers where required.
  • Assisting the program coordinator with other duties such as pool bookings and squad groups.

For success in this role, you will have:

  • A Swim Teaching Certificate plus relevant extension courses.
  • Experience dealing with the general public, providing high quality service.
  • Flexibility to work morning, evening and weekend shifts to meet the demands of the program.
  • Experience in staff supervision.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check and CPR qualification.
  • An Austswim qualification is highly desirable.
  • An understanding of Perfect Gym software is also desirable.
