Job Title: Aquatic Operations Manager

The Assistant Manager will provide leadership and direction to program coordinators, supervisors, and staff in the areas of aquatic, educational, health, fitness, and recreational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both facilities' aquatics areas under the principles of safe pool operations.
  • Oversee both facilities' plantroom operations and facility maintenance and cleaning.
  • Responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of program activities undertaken in the aquatics area.
  • Develop a comprehensive program plan in conjunction with the Centre Manager for both facilities.
  • Continually review and evaluate programs and services with the purpose of continually improving performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a people leader with an understanding of Leisure facility operations.
  • Previous experience in an administrative environment and exposure to managing resources.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to find solutions to complex issues.
  • Confidence to liaise with a diverse range of people.
  • Broad knowledge of Leisure Centre Industry programs and trends.
