About this role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to manage a caseload of participants and design therapy programs to achieve participant outcomes.
The successful candidate will assess participants' functional capacity, including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment.
Key responsibilities include developing participant-centred goals, providing best practice support services, adapting environments for participants, and mentoring junior clinicians.
This is a pivotal role in building our presence on the Central Coast, with local support from a Senior OT and remote assistance from the wider leadership team.
- Clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant-centred goals
- Providing best practice, evidence-based support services that increase participants' life skills and independence
- Conducting assessments and providing recommendations to adapt environments for participants
- Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration)
- 1-2+ years' experience (direct NDIS experience - highly regarded)
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving
