Job Overview

The Child Safeguarding team is responsible for assessing and investigating allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct in early childhood education and care services.

This specialist regulatory team contributes to national and state child safety initiatives, including the ACECQA Child Safety Review, the Royal Commission response, and the implementation of Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

Regulatory officers will work closely with other government agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants should have a strong background in regulatory compliance, law enforcement or a related field. A degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, but not essential.
