The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced regulatory professional to fill current and future permanent and temporary vacancies across Queensland.

About The ECRA

We are responsible for setting the foundations for quality early learning experiences and delivering world-class education services. Our primary focus is on regulating early childhood education and care services, prioritizing the health, safety, and wellbeing of children.

Your Role
  • Support us by consistently applying relevant early childhood education and care legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes
  • Work under the guidance of the Manager, Regulation, in each Regional Office, focusing on monitoring, investigations, assessment of applications and notifications, conducting assessments and ratings of education and care services, developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships, and other suitable duties as directed by your supervisor.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing data, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and participating in ongoing professional development.

About You

We seek an experienced regulator or individual who can rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the ECEC sector. You will have strong analytical, communication, project management, and decision-making skills, and be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
