Belonging and Inclusion Specialist

Our organisation is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture where everyone feels valued and respected. As a Belonging and Inclusion Specialist, you will play a critical role in realising our ambition and operationalising a multi-year inclusion strategy.

This is a newly created, permanent position with flexible working arrangements, based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. You will be part of a dedicated team of diversity and inclusion practitioners, partnering closely with business units to effectively activate and embed our inclusion strategy across all pillars.

You will integrate leading practice, commercial acumen and program management expertise to shape and deliver priorities that create a greater sense of belonging and impact for our workforce. This includes partnering with senior leaders to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion into business strategy and goals, leading the execution of measurable inclusion outcomes, and analysing data and metrics to measure the influence of DEI initiatives on key business outcomes.

As a champion for marginalised groups, you will translate lived experience and feedback into business requirements and key focus areas. You will also build relationships with executive sponsors and team networks to amplify the voices of marginalised groups, ensuring priorities are aligned with lived experience.

We are seeking someone with a background in HR or a related field, with demonstrated experience delivering measurable D&I outcomes in a large, complex organisation. You will have at least 3-5 years of experience partnering with executive leaders on D&I matters, representing the organisation with key industry bodies.

You will thrive in a collaborative team-focused environment, preferably with agile experience. You will be skilled in analysing and interpreting data to tell a compelling story, with an understanding of AI tools and how to leverage data to optimise outcomes. You will also have proven program management experience, managing complex D&I initiatives, supported by exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
