Job Summary:

Harris Scarfe Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Bathurst store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Run day-to-day store operations, ensuring seamless execution of business plans and strategies.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve sales, wages, and shrinkage budgets, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Team Development: Provide timely guidance and feedback to train and develop the team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure the customer perspective is a driving force behind management decisions and store activities, delivering a customer-centric culture.
  • Leadership and Management: Develop and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and develop top talent, leading by example and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Business Partnerships: Liaise with relevant Support Office departments to take commercial control of the business, driving business growth and profitability.

About You:

We are looking for a natural leader with exceptional customer service, sales, and organizational skills. You will possess:

  • Big Box Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams of 20+ in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including financial management, inventory control, and supply chain management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer systems, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other business applications.
