About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality services to our clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of individuals to assess their needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique requirements.
- Foster therapeutic relationships to enhance clients' daily living skills and promote independence.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide expert advice and support on the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based approaches in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the NDIS environment is preferred.
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- A genuine passion for helping individuals enhance their quality of life and independence is vital.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team is crucial.
