Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Specialist
This is a dynamic role where you will work collaboratively with families, youth, and communities to address challenging behaviour and make positive life changes.
Through intensive interventions, you will empower families to develop new skills, improve their interactions, and increase social support.
The successful applicant will receive ongoing training in the MST model and work closely with clients and other stakeholders to implement it effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- To conduct systemic assessments, problem solve, and provide peer supervision to family members and caregivers.
- To deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and work collaboratively with clients and their families to achieve optimal outcomes.
- To manage caseloads, documentation requirements, and work outside standard office hours as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A 4-year degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (including Counselling, Family/Systems Therapy).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct systemic assessments, problem solve, and provide peer supervision.
- Knowledge of family/caregiver systems theory, behavioural and cognitive behavioural therapies, and experience working with marginalized groups.
