Delivering meaningful interventions to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0-8, and their families, is at the heart of this role. As a Therapy Intervention Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in bringing about positive, life-changing outcomes for these individuals.

About the Position
  • You will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds and community centres, applying the social model of therapy with precision and dedication.
  • Assessments and communication skills are crucial for understanding the needs of each family and child, enabling you to develop tailored therapy plans that cater to their unique requirements.
  • Collaboration with other professionals, such as Speech Pathologists and kinder teachers, is essential for developing effective therapy plans that yield optimal results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans for NDIS participants, leveraging your expertise to drive meaningful progress.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other support networks to achieve desired outcomes, fostering strong relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing records through our online participant management system, ensuring seamless administrative processes.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as an Occupational Therapy degree or registration as a Physiotherapist or Speech Pathologist, is required to excel in this role.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families is necessary to provide high-quality service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities is highly valued, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to inclusive practices.
