About the Role

This is an opportunity to utilize your property management skills and make a significant impact on the lives of others. As a Housing Tenancy Manager, you will oversee tenancy contracts, ensure compliance with the tenancy act, and work collaboratively with Case Managers to provide holistic support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend tenant sites regularly to be a presence onsite, addressing client needs holistically in collaboration with Case Managers.
  • Manage site matters impacting common areas, promoting increased client safety and wellbeing.
  • Work with Case Managers to identify and address tenancy challenges, preventing/reducing tenancy failure.
  • Oversee tenancy contracts, receipt of rental income, and conduct property inspections ensuring tenants comply with the tenancy act under the agreement with TSA.
  • As part of case management support practice, undertake specific group or individual resident engagement activities as directed by the Case Management Team.

This max term part-time position is located in Adelaide and offers a competitive salary and conditions in accordance with the SCHADS Level 4 Award. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while utilizing your skills and experience in a meaningful way.

Requirements
  • A minimum certificate IV in Real Estate Practice or other related Tenancy Management qualification.
  • An understanding of Trauma Informed Practice and its impact.
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a similar position.
  • Experience working with people who may not have English as a first language.
  • A Working with Children and Vulnerable persons check is required.
  • A National police Record Check.
  • A Full SA Drivers Licence.
  • Be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
