Job Title: Senior HR Manager

 

At our Brisbane port terminal, we are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function. This strategic leadership role ensures effective HR operations, fosters a high-performance workforce, and maintains strong industrial and employee relations in a safety-first environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business partnering background, a strategic mindset, and a passion for leading with influence and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic delivery of the employee lifecycle for terminal operations.
  • Ensure effective alignment of HR strategies and initiatives with local business objectives and operational needs.
  • Facilitate key people processes within the business unit.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyse critical HR metrics and workforce data.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' senior HR leadership experience driving strategic partnerships with business leaders.
  • Strong leadership skills, commercially savvy, and skilled coach in employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
