Product Development Role

The primary goal of this position is to lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring that new products meet both internal and external commercial requirements.

This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, planning and leading R&D production trials, analyzing and interpreting results to guide product improvements, working with external marketing and trend experts to identify emerging food trends, and incorporating them into product development.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the sourcing of ingredients and packaging solutions, preparing and submitting comprehensive documentation for customer sample submissions, contributing to process design layouts for new products as part of a multi-functional team, managing R&D systems to ensure data and information accuracy and completeness, and developing new products that align with commercial requirements.

About You:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food innovation and product development. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in product development within the food manufacturing industry, a tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related field, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
