Senior Food Technologist

At our organization, we are seeking a high-energy food technologist to join our R&D team. As part of this role, you will work directly with the marketing, commercial, procurement and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

This position requires strong technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to lead the development and improvement of food products, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead R&D projects from ideation to commercialization, managing and mentoring team members.
  • Effectively communicate with senior leadership to manage up and provide feedback on projects and key business decisions.
  • Develop and implement new food products, including prototype development, factory trials, implementation, and packaging.
  • Value engineer and reformulate existing product lines to improve product delivery quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience across all organizational levels.
