Remuneration Analyst Position Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply analytical expertise in HR, finance, and data analysis to directly influence strategic remuneration decisions for Australian staff worldwide.

As a Remuneration Analyst, you will conduct annual reviews of salary and benefits for overseas staff using actuarial data and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments.

The ideal candidate will possess high-level technical expertise in HR accounting and advanced data analysis using Excel including PowerQuery.

Proven experience in remuneration analysis preferably within a large complex organization is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Salary and Benefits Reviews: Use actuarial data and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments for overseas staff.
  • Maintain and Enhance the Remuneration Model: Ensure data integrity and performance of a complex Excel-based remuneration model.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy: Document assumptions and methodologies for audit purposes to ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Collaborate with Senior Staff: Incorporate local context into salary decisions and provide strategic advice to senior staff.
  • Procure High-Quality Remuneration Data: Lead the procurement of high-quality remuneration data from external suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: High-level technical expertise in HR accounting and advanced data analysis using Excel including PowerQuery.
  • Remuneration Analysis Experience: Proven experience in remuneration analysis preferably within a large complex organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
