APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON FRIDAY 12 SEPTEMBER, MIDNIGHT THE ROLE Our client is seeking an EL1 equivalent Senior Remuneration Analyst, with a minimum NV1 security clearance to support their Human Resources Section.
In this roleyou will deliver actionable insights on global pay and benefits, supporting decision-making, policy development, and remuneration strategy across multiple regions.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in global remuneration and compensation analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in conducting market benchmarking, salary structuring, and benefits analysis across multiple regions.
You are analytical, proactive, and able to interpret complex data to provide actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, and proficiency with HR systems and Excel are essential.
A strategic mindset, combined with a hands-on approach and integrity in handling sensitive information, will ensure success in this role.
KEY DUTIES Responsibilites include: Conduct annual remuneration reviews for locally and overseas engaged staff Analyse salary scales, benefits, and market data to provide accurate, defensible recommendations Maintain and enhance the Agencies remuneration analysis model (Excel/PowerQuery), ensuring accuracy and usability Manage procurement and integration of remuneration and economic data from external suppliers Ensure data quality, documentation, and audit compliance for all remuneration decisions Collaborate with Managers and Senior stakeholders to align salary outcomes with local and global contexts Lead survey processes, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and validation Provide strategic advice on remuneration trends, risks, and policy implications Contribute to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and methodological enhancements Represent the Agency in professional engagements with external providers and like-minded organisations.
Please note: This is a security-designated position, and the successful candidate will be required to hold a current Australian Government NV1 or higher Security Clearance prior to commencement.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Relevant tertiary education in HR, business, or analytics will be advantageous Previous experience in global remuneration, compensation analysis, or a related HR/People Analytics role Experience in market benchmarking, salary structuring, and benefits analysis Strong analytical and numerical skills Advanced Excel and familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or similar) Ability to interpret complex data and provide insights to senior stakeholders Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work across multiple regions and understand global contexts High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive information Proactive and collaborative mindset Location: Barton, ACT 2600 Contract Duration: October 2025 – October 2026 (with possible 2 x 12-month extension) Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Security Clearance: Australian Government NV1 or higher.
