About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and the community. They will also have a strong understanding of child-centred learning principles and be committed to delivering exceptional educational outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of educational programs that align with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan, resource, and deliver lessons using PlayMyWay resources.
- Promote children's holistic development, including identity, connectedness, wellbeing, active learning, communication, and transition skills.
- Prepare and manage learning materials, supervise small-group activities, and perform administrative tasks such as photocopying and resource organisation.
- Contribute to creating inclusive classroom environments and supporting positive behaviour management.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a growth-focused mindset and a commitment to excellence in education support. The successful applicant will be a current Queensland Government employee with a Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and relevant qualifications, including a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Early Childhood.
