The Perfect Fit

Our Next Teacher Aide Will Have

• Formal qualifications in education support (e.g., Certificate or Diploma), or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Primary (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated understanding and experience planning, observing and reporting on student learning and behaviours.
• A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth-focused mindset.
• Respect for individual learning needs, community focus and fostering child-centred partnerships.

Your Next Chapter At Kindon State School

• Support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum in line with departmental priorities and individual student needs.
• Assist teachers to plan, resource, and facilitate learning using quality resources.
• Interact with children to foster a love of learning through a growth mindset and development of independent problem-solving.
• Prepare and manage learning materials, supervise small-group activities, playground duties, and aid with administrative tasks such as photocopying and resource organisation.
• Support positive behaviour management and inclusive classroom environments.
• Engage respectfully with families and the community while maintaining confidentiality and following Education Queensland policies.
