Principal (Level 5) - Warwick West State School

This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 6 October 2 025 until 12 December 2025, with possibility of extension, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role

As the Principal, you will provide strategic direction and lead a clear improvement agenda focused on innovation, quality teaching and learning, inclusive practices, and building strong community partnerships. This temporary vacancy offers an opportunity for an experienced educational leader to work closely with staff, parents and community partners to maintain continuity, strengthen school priorities, and support staff capability while fostering a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic direction and improvement agenda focused on innovation, quality teaching and learning, inclusive practices, and community partnerships.
  • Work with staff, parents and community partners to maintain continuity and strengthen school priorities.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment and support staff capability.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
  • Mandatory requirements outlined in the Role Description.
  • Resume with contact details for 2 referees familiar with relevant work history.
  • Written response (2-page maximum) addressing Key Capabilities 1-2 as related to the attached role description.
