Role Overview

The Home Care Worker will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, helping with meal preparation and shopping, social support and transport to lifestyle activities. You will also provide personal care services including getting customers up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals. In addition, you will provide respite and emotional support, as well as social support and transport to appointments.

As a Home Care Worker, you will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that you deliver high-quality care and support. Your experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, will enable you to provide excellent care and support to our customers.

You will have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role. You must be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help. Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.

Please note that we will perform a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination before joining our team.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $30.61 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Phone Allowance. This is a competitive salary package that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions to our mission.
