We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team in the Hills District.
As a Home Care provider, you will work closely with our elderly clients to empower them to live independently at home. Your role will involve providing individualised care tailored to each client's needs and their families.
This is a permanent part-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours a fortnight, covering a variety of shifts from 08.00 - 16.00, Monday to Friday. You must be available and flexible within these hours.
You will service clients in and around the Hills District area.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation, and help with eating
- Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
- Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
- Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties
- Domestic assistance, light household cleaning
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Certificate 3 in Aged or Individual Support, Community Services, and Disability. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as compassionate interpersonal skills and empathy with older people.
Additional requirements include:
- Medication competency - desirable
- Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis using your own vehicle
- Time management skills
- Reliable and trustworthy – our clients are dependent on you
- Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
- Proven Aged Care or NDIS services background
