About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Hospital in the Home service and Single Point Of Coordination team. As a key member of our Division of Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance service delivery, promote continuous improvement, and align with SA Health's vision and values.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of nursing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, professional development, and collaborative practice.
  • Clinical Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards, promoting best practices and maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage financial and human resources, ensuring efficient utilisation and optimisation of available resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, external providers, and community partners to deliver seamless, integrated care and drive positive outcomes for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current practicing certificate.
