An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse within the Pre-Admission Unit.

In this role, you will work as part of a team and autonomously to ensure that patients/clients are prepared for upcoming surgery. You will use your highly developed assessment skills and knowledge to enable a smooth surgical pathway and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings.
  • Develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice.
  • Consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
  • Accept accountability for your own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
