About the Role

This is an opportunity for a seasoned technical leader passionate about open source software, Linux, containers, security, and the developer experience, to shape the future of Linux from the smallest systems up to desktops.

  • Drive timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
  • Effectively collaborate with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders
  • Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop great engineering and organizational practices
  • Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values
About You

You are a tech enthusiast who thrives in fast-paced environments. You are adaptable, articulate, and accountable. You love developing and growing people and have a track record of doing it.

You are knowledgeable and passionate about software development. You have experience leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring software developers. You are comfortable planning and executing to deliver timely, high-quality software.

You have solid experience working in agile development environments. You have a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field. You have expertise in embedded software, Golang, C/C++, and Shell scripting. You have a strong understanding of Linux and modern GNU/Linux distributions, such as Debian or Ubuntu.
