We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Disability Support Worker.
- This position involves assisting people with disabilities in achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives, focusing on person-centred care, dignity, and respect.
- Community access and recreational activities
- Personal care assistance, including showering, toileting, and personal hygiene support
- Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to facilitate mobility
- Transportation and social engagement
- Light domestic duties, such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support principles
- Transferable life/work skills and a caring approach
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation purposes
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- The legal right to work in Australia
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
