Site Operations Manager Wanted

We seek a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to oversee the execution of major bulk earthworks projects on mine sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while managing resources, equipment, and personnel.

The Role

As Site Operations Manager, you will lead project execution and supervise activities on time and in budget. You will support Project Managers and engineering teams with progress reports and conduct site reporting to track progress, monitor resources, and costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and contractor teams.
  • Engage team members through clear role accountabilities and performance measures, providing regular feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of site systems and assets.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in civil and bulk earthworks projects within the mining industry.
  • Proven ability to develop successful working relationships across all levels.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of mining safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and work on FIFO roster.
