Financial Partner Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a Financial Partner to join our Business Performance team. This position is responsible for collaborating with operations and Centre Support Office to provide expert advice, analysis, ongoing support, and guidance to drive performance and profitability.

This role involves partnering with business operational teams to achieve financial growth and driving profit through effective analysis and management of key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial analysis and guidance
  • Manage and maintain the budget model, ensuring timely input from all stakeholders
  • Support the financial and operational re-forecast on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Actively manage business performance against budget
  • Review P&L's, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability
  • Maximise revenue through analysis of customers and competitors
  • Establish and maintain systems to manage and support short-term bottom-up forecasting, particularly of revenue and wages
  • Provide financial information, analysis, and direction on centre operations that require attention from key stakeholders
  • Offer support and guidance to Management, seeking initiatives to outperform targets and mitigating risks
  • Provide strategic, forward-looking financial insights to help drive growth
  • Deliver cost efficiencies through improved visibility, wage control, roster analysis, and optimisation recommendations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to support ongoing coaching and financial management capabilities across the business
  • Scope and brief new performance reports in Tableau to facilitate user self-service reporting and analysis
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting or related field
  • Qualified Accountant, studying towards or equivalent experience
  • Service industry experience analysing profitability and driving profit growth
  • Commercial Management/Financial Analyst experience
  • Practical experience partnering business operational teams
