Lead Financial Expert

We are seeking a high-calibre finance leader to drive financial performance, integrity and compliance across our business.

This is a critical leadership role that requires exceptional technical expertise, strong analytical skills and the ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team.

You will be responsible for leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

In addition, you will oversee the financial close process, balance sheet integrity and audit readiness.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within retail or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis function
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Partner with the CFO to deliver insightful financial analysis and business performance reviews
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team to achieve financial goals
About You:
  • CA or CPA qualified with 10+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within retail or FMCG
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and tax compliance
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes and operate with high integrity
