Project Communications Specialist

The Queensland government has committed significant funding for infrastructure projects across Southern Queensland Region. The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program aims to reduce crash severity and frequency through various measures, such as safety upgrades and fatigue management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement for infrastructure projects, developing communication strategies and materials.
  • Provide communications advice and support to project teams on issues management, risk assessment, and communication strategies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local government officers and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage executive correspondence and communications materials, researching and writing media statements and responses.
  • Research and prepare project briefing materials and reporting for leadership and project teams.

This role contributes to the efficient delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program. Applications are accepted for 12 months.
