Fulton Hogan is a leading provider of infrastructure services in Australia and New Zealand, delivering high-quality projects that improve the lives of people every day.

We are currently seeking an experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective community engagement strategies, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.

About the Role
  • You will lead the development and implementation of best practice community and stakeholder engagement plans;
  • Provide advice on approvals processes and emerging issues;
  • Drive necessary engagement with communities and other stakeholders to identify solutions;
  • Represent the business in community forums and developing communications materials, and;
  • Engage with the client, statutory bodies, local government and media.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and experience in a communications, stakeholder management or community liaison role. You will have a solid understanding and commitment to principles of equality, diversity, continuous improvement. You will have experience in meeting contractual obligations as well as organisational and legislative requirements.
