Senior Community & Stakeholder Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Community & Stakeholder Advisor to join our Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Transport for NSW on a major infrastructure project, delivering essential benefits to the Newcastle community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and build strong relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create engaging content and materials to support project delivery, operational business initiatives, and employee engagement.
  • Build Relationships and Trust: Collaborate with senior leaders and project teams to provide communications support and stakeholder management advice.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement: Contribute to a positive team culture through effective employee engagement strategies.
  • Develop the Community and Stakeholder Management Plan: Identify opportunities to build brand awareness through industry partnerships and community outreach programs.
  • Publish High-Quality Communication Material: Prepare and publish communication material across various internal and external channels.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Communications or Stakeholder Management, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A Collaborative Style, with a focus on building strong relationships and trust with stakeholders.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a Relevant Field, such as Communications or Marketing.
