Job Overview

Fulton Hogan, a leading infrastructure company, is seeking a Senior Community Relations Advisor to join our Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team. This role will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality community engagement and stakeholder management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support project delivery, operational business initiatives, and enhance employee engagement;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver best practice communications for internal and external audiences across various formats;
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and the project team to provide communications support and specialist stakeholder management advice;
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through employee engagement strategies;
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the community and stakeholder management plan;
  • Identify and manage opportunities to build brand awareness through industry partnerships and community outreach programs;
  • Prepare high-quality communication material for publication across various channels.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a communications or stakeholder management role;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with creative thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Infrastructure experience is highly desirable;
  • A collaborative style with the ability to quickly build relationships and engage a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are desirable.
