Procurement Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to drive the success of our global procurement function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Procurement Strategy, adding value to the current process.

The Role

You will lead procurement activities across various categories and departments, delivering targeted savings and efficient procurement of day-to-day requirements while ensuring appropriate service levels to the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a company committed to best practice and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Procurement Head, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining supplier performance with on-time purchase order delivery
  • Organising and administering procurement processes
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Strategically reducing cost of supply and ensuring maximum value for money
  • Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Serving as the primary point of contact in Australia

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years' experience in a procurement role with 2-3 years in management or operations sourcing/supply chain
  • Technical skills ideally from an Oil & Gas background
  • Ability to lead, manage, and deliver multiple concurrent projects
  • Sound knowledge in shipping & logistics
  • MRP/ERP experience is ideal
