Senior Procurement Specialist

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Strategist to support the Client Engagement & Support Services Division.
This key role will provide strategic leadership in delivering high-quality healthcare to veterans and their dependents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders, conduct research, and develop procurement documentation.
- Set and monitor timeframes for procurement delivery.
- Contribute new ideas to improve business processes.
- Prepare complex correspondence and reports on procurement activities.
- Develop and report on probity and quality control activities.
- Coordinate risk and issues management across various procurements.
- Negotiate with internal and external clients to resolve escalated or difficult issues.
- Contribute to innovation and business improvement strategies.
