Job Title: Human Resources Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the workforce, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to the rebuilding and refinement of HR systems.
About Us:
We are a community-led Aboriginal health service delivering integrated primary healthcare and wellbeing programs across a vast remote area in the Northern Territory. Our focus is on holistic care, supporting not just physical health but also social, cultural, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onboarding and compliance support to new staff members;
- Coordinate people-first problem-solving and maintain smooth processes;
- Contribute to the development and refinement of HR systems, templates, and processes in collaboration with the team.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative or HR support experience with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude;
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office and managing digital records;
- Cultural sensitivity and a respectful, team-first attitude;
- A current NT Ochre Card, Driver's Licence, and Police Check (or ability to obtain them);
- HR qualifications or previous experience in onboarding, recruitment, or compliance;
- Prior work in remote, community, or Aboriginal health settings;
- Familiarity with HR templates or government HR processes.
What We Offer:
- Base salary from A$80,000 per year, plus super, and Enterprise Agreement increases;
- Relocation and accommodation support for up to 6-8 weeks after arrival;
