About the Role:

Inspiring a New Generation in Hairdressing Skills and Knowledge, We Seek a Dedicated Industry Leader to Train VETDSS Students in Hairdressing Skills and Knowledge.

The successful candidate will have experience in training and assessing, sound knowledge of trainer and assessor requirements, and be confident working independently.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young adults, motivating them to achieve their best. With small class sizes, our focus is on delivering quality training that meets industry standards.

Key Requirements:

• TAE40116 or equivalent qualification for trainers and assessors.

• A strong understanding of hairdressing units of competency and the ability to deliver training that meets industry standards.

• Free onsite parking available for employees.

• Certificate III in Hairdressing as a minimum requirement.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

• Current Working with Children's Check to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

• First Aid certification to respond to emergencies and provide support to students.

• All resources provided to ensure success in the role.

• Comprehension of units of competency and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans.

• Safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

• Exceptional administrative, organisational, and operational skills to manage student records and reports.

• Awareness of LMS portals to access course materials and track student progress.

• Ability to maintain learner records and manage reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
