About the role

Join ECB Training Services' dynamic team as a Trainer / Assessor. In this full-time role based in either Altona or Keysborough, Victoria, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our diverse student cohort. As an experienced and qualified Trainer / Assessor, you will play a crucial part in helping our students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workplace.

What you'll be doing

  1. Delivering engaging and effective training sessions in a classroom or virtual setting
  2. Assessing student competency through a range of assessment methods
  3. Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their performance
  4. Maintaining detailed student records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Continuously updating your own knowledge and skills to ensure training content is current and relevant
  6. Collaborating with the wider training team to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our training programs

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant vocational qualifications and extensive experience as a Trainer / Assessor in the education and training industry specifically, RII Cert III Civil Construction and RII Cert III Civil Construction (Plant Operations).
  2. Strong subject matter expertise in your area of training, with a track record of delivering high-quality training and assessment
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse range of students
  4. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable approach
  5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  6. Passion for continuous learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
