**Job Opportunity: Trainer and Assessor - Building and Construction / Carpentry at CIET- Melbourne Campus**

**Position Overview**:We are seeking highly motivated Trainers and Assessors to deliver and assess in the following areas in a workplace-based environment and work very closely with one of our key national courses related to Carpentry / Building and Construction:
**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Current** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction will be an additional requirement
- Experience in engaging, inspiring, and training in this sector
- Work and industry experience in Carpentry / Building and Construction
- Experience developing and updating training packages in line with relevant industry and compliance standards
- All required workplace licenses
- High-level organisational, administrative, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to achieving results in a flexible, small team environment

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
