Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering support for Naval Capabilities. This key role requires holding Level 3 Engineering Authority, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on cutting-edge projects and in-service capabilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical engineering support for onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities.
  • Ensure design compliance with technical requirements, cost, and schedule.
  • Attain Design Authority signatory status and Chartered status from relevant authorities.
  • Develop engineering task plans including staffing, cost, schedule and material requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project and task success.
  • Monitor and ensure quality and system safety requirements are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in Electrical Systems design and support.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) and technical writing.
  • Strong analytical skills and safety/risk management knowledge.
  • Strong technical skills and broad exposure to technical issues.
  • Experience in shipbuilding, repair, and Navy systems.
