Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections.
  • Applying standard engineering techniques to solve problems.
  • Assisting senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations.
  • Preparing calculations and analysis of building structures.
  • Assisting with preparation of specifications, reports, and other documentation under close supervision.
  • Liaising and coordinating with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision.

About This Role

We are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and graduate membership with Engineers Australia.

Key Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience.
  • The ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
