About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. This challenging opportunity will provide a unique chance for you to grow your skills and experience, working on various projects in Melbourne.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work on complex projects or sections of projects, taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
  • Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve problems and assist senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations.
  • Prepare detailed calculations and analysis of building structures, under close supervision.
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues, also under senior engineer supervision.

About You

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering and graduate membership with Engineers Australia is preferred.
  • You should have a thorough understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience would be beneficial.
  • You must possess excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and the ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation.
