Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Experian. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling our leading data management solutions to our clients in the VIC portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Achieve agreed revenue targets by understanding client requirements and proposing effective solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities through targeted outreach, including cold calling, emails, and other methods.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • Sales Activities: Attend scheduled sales training, deal reviews, and other sessions to continuously enhance sales skills.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate and structure weekly schedules with the Regional Sales Manager, taking responsibility for self-development and learning in line with personal and company objectives.
  • Champion Experian Values: Uphold and promote Experian's core values in all interactions and activities.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in sales with exposure to enterprise software sales.
  • Skills: Strong sales methodology, in conversations, and curiosity in questioning to understand client challenges and opportunities.
  • Attributes: Energetic and driven and have keen interest in data and its applications.
